Establishments information

This picturesque estancia (farm), a paradise of 430 hectares (1077 acres), is located just
an hour away from the airport and 4 km (2.5 miles) from Alta Gracia city. The house is
buried deep in the heart of the lands that were part of Estancia Jesuita de Alta Gracia which
also belonged to Viceroy Santiago Liniers and that in 1918 passed into the hands of diplomat
and writer Enrique Larreta. He built this big house which is a replica of San Bernardo Convent
in Salta. Here, guests enjoy the colonial architecture and period furniture.

The rooms are big, comfortable and bright displaying a smart decoration; they all feature
chimneys, pinotea wooden floors and a peaceful view of the garden and mountains.
The Larreta suite is available.

The hotel features a restaurant that offers all kind of regional food, traditional Argentine
specialties and snacks.

In 1999, the family decided to complete the touristic offer with a golf course - 9 holes,
par 72-for the exclusive use of guests. You can also practice trout fishing, trekking
and mountain bike; the cart ride is a must.

El Potrerillo de Larreta is open all year long.
